I’m Ville Strengell, a Helsinki‑based video producer, cinematographer and editor, and the founder of Aallonmurtaja Filmi. With over 15 years of experience in shooting, editing and color grading, I can take a project from first idea to final delivery independently. That lets my clients focus on their message while I handle the production.

Background and clients

My background combines documentary storytelling, corporate communications and marketing videos. Over the years I’ve created projects for clients such as Airbus, Vertti & Co and SaaS / e‑commerce companies like Solwe and MyCashFlow. Many topics look dry on paper, but together with the client we turn them into visually engaging stories. In recent years I’ve also integrated AI‑enhanced editing and post‑production workflows into my projects, which helps me deliver final videos faster without compromising on quality.

How I work

I deliberately keep the operation small so that clients always know exactly who is responsible for their project. In a single shoot day I like to plan and produce both the main video (for example a customer story or corporate film) and the social media cuts and still photos derived from it. This way we get the maximum value out of one production.
